Office Space in Town Blackfriars had been innovatively designed by Sam Kopsch, with Area appointed as the fit-out contractor. Having worked with Area before they asked if we would meet the team on-site to discuss greenery ideas, including our bespoke replica green wall system.

The results
The design starts from the building entrance where we specified exterior grade replica green wall attached to the ceiling and seamlessly flowing through into the reception area. To create the desired look we removed the moss backing of our replica wall and replaced it with grass matting for ongoing longevity. This was further complemented with grasses and ivy’s to create the hanging ceiling effect. On installation, the matting was cut and fitted around pendant lighting, including concealed ceiling hatches to enable future maintenance!
Each floor had been individually themed but consistent throughout was the replica green wall and replica office plants on each level.
On one floor, the meeting room had been themed with custom made giraffe figures, one surrounded by replica green wall as if poking its head out of the bushes and into the meeting!
On another floor a more tropical scheme featured throughout, boosted by clusters of replica interior plant designs to enhance the theme.
This was a fantastic and not to mention imaginative project to be involved in, a wonderful example of how a successful partnership can turn any design idea into a reality!
